Account Deletion Request

Important Notice

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems in accordance with our data retention policies.

How to Delete Your Account

Step 1: Open the App

Launch the Axumite Partner mobile application on your device.

Step 2: Tap the Drawer

Tap on the menu icon (hamburger menu) to open the navigation drawer.

Step 3: Go to Profile

Tap on "Profile" in the navigation drawer to access your profile settings.

Step 4: Find Account Access

Scroll down to the "Account Access" section at the bottom of your profile page.

Step 5: Select Delete Account

Tap on the "Delete Account" option in the Account Access section.

Step 6: Confirm Deletion

Read the confirmation message carefully and tap "Yes" to confirm. Your account will be deleted immediately and you will be logged out.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

Personal Information Name, phone number, email address, profile picture
Vehicle Information Vehicle make, model, plate number, vehicle documents
Driver Documents License, permits, and all uploaded verification documents
Location Data Saved locations, recent addresses, GPS history
Ride History All past trip records, routes, fare information, earnings
Ratings Ratings given to passengers and received from passengers
Payment Information Bank details, wallet balance, transaction history
Device Data Device tokens, push notification preferences
Service Settings Selected services, pricing preferences, availability settings

What Data May Be Retained

While we delete most of your personal data when your account is closed, some information must be retained locally within servers physically located in Ethiopia to satisfy our legal, tax, driver vetting, and safety obligations under Ethiopian law.

Additional Notes

How to Restore Your Account

Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, you cannot restore it or recover your data. If you wish to drive with Axumite again, you will need to create a new account and complete the registration and verification process.
